PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Indoor Sales Specialist preforms a full range of commercial and administrative duties, provides proactive support to the Sales Team and Sales Manager, acts as a first point of contact for Trade and Corporate partners.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

  • Contribute to the achievement of AFKL commercial targets;
  • Increase Sales Account Managers productivity (administrative, commercial, operational support);
  • Improve Corporate and Trade partners loyalty and satisfaction (first point of contact, timely and successful response and resolution).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English (upper-intermediate and higher is a must)

  • Previous experience in the tourism industry, preferably in the airline industry

  • Computer literate (MS Office) & Internet tools

  • Knowledge of Sales Tools

KEY TASKS:

1. Sales Support function:

  • Perform back office management for all contracted trade and corporate partners;
  • Act as a first point of contact for all sales support, aftersales and operational related topics:
  • Provide active support to Sales Account managers in order to increase their productivity;
  • Trade & Incentive agreements administration;
  • Trade portfolios administration;
  • Corporate contracts handling/administration (creation, renewal
  • Monitor the usage of Comflex budget and consolidate the information about TMF/Comflex spending.

2. Sales technical and operational support:

  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of Refund Applications in BSP-link;
  • Ensure fast & effective resolution of disputed ADMs (analysis, investigation, approval, rejection);
  • Ensure efficient interaction with Accelya regarding Refund Application and ADMs + handle waiver cases/waiver list);
  • Issue B2B tickets & EMDs for Corporates (where respective process is contracted or requested and justified by responsible Sales Account Managers;
  • Issue B2T tickets (ad-hoc cases, e.g. trade fam-trips, inspection trips, lottery winners, gestures for trade partners);
  • Handle and administrate commercial gestures (goodwill) made to clients;
  • Handle and issue Comflex tickets & products (ex.bag, upgrade, seat plus, economy comfort, registration Good will fare)
  • Alert and report to Pricing Department any pricing and booking related issues in GDS (technical problems, mistakes, elucidations on rules and conditions)
  • Taking part in cross-functional communication with HQ /Pricing/Finance/etc.

3. Comflex budget administration:

  • Ensure strict control of commercial waivers/gestures
  • Ensure accurate and explicit recording of each corresponding reasons & approvals into Comflex tool
  • Maintain and provide regular TMF report to the Sales Manager;
  • Keep TMF spending within the Budget

  4. Trade marketing functions:

  • Develop & maintain AFKL sales presentations to support different AFKL Sales activities;

  • Keep up-to-date with industry/competitor information including information concerning passenger trends and activities; ensure a timely flow of key information to the Sales Manager and other Sales team members

  • Coordinate preparation of various sales and marketing events;

  • Participate of behalf of AFKL in Travel Workshops, Seminars, Webinars and other offline activities

  • Perform in-door activities aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, increasing AFKL brand awareness, new products and offerings promotion.

5. Account management function (Indoor mode):

  • Manage a portfolio of small Trade partners and SME corporate clients (no proactive Sales calls or visits);
  • Maintain sufficient level of communication with relevant accounts (product, pricing, network updates)
  • Monitor Sales performance, alert negative trends, propose corrective measures, handover the account to the Sales Account manager once trade or corporate revenue reaches sufficient volume.
