Key responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement team: structure workflows, assign tasks, manage performance, and develop team capabilities;
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with fleet requirements and company objectives;
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost optimization;
- Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers, conclude and monitor contracts;
- Ensuring the availability of all required certificates and documentation (e.g., EASA Form 1, FAA 8130, and others);
- Monitor stock availability and guarantee timely delivery of parts and components;
- Conducting tender procedures, evaluating suppliers, and monitoring the fulfillment of contractual obligations
- Coordinate customs clearance and international logistics processes;
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, legal, and finance departments;
- Prepare and present procurement reports and analytics to management;
- Support aviation audits (e.g., IOSA, EASA) and implement improvement actions;
- Initiate and participate in procurement process automation and digitalization projects.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Higher education in engineering, economics, logistics, or a related field (aviation-related degrees are preferred);
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement of aviation equipment and spare parts, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role;
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft components, systems, tools, and materials used in commercial or cargo aviation;
- Proven experience in working with OEMs, MRO providers, and certified suppliers;
- Familiarity with aviation documentation such as EASA Form 1, FAA 8130, CoC, and traceability records.
Professional Skills:
- Strong understanding of aviation procurement standards and regulations (e.g. ATA, IATA, ICAO, IOSA);
- Ability to build procurement strategies, manage annual budgets, and optimize supply chain operations;
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, 1C, RAMCO or equivalent);
- Skilled in tendering, vendor assessment, contract negotiation, and long-term supplier management;
- Risk management competencies and ensuring continuity of critical supplies;
- Proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) for communication, negotiations, and reviewing technical documentation.
Leadership and Personal Qualities:
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience;
- Analytical thinking and strategic decision-making abilities;
- High level of responsibility, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in international logistics and customs clearance processes;
- Participation in aviation audits (e.g. IOSA, EASA) or audit readiness initiatives;
- Familiarity with digital transformation or procurement process optimization projects;
- International certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or APICS will be a strong advantage.

- Work schedule: from 9: 00 to 18: 00;
- Office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan;
- Salary is negotiated individually;
- Registration according to the Labour Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
